2025 “Nihao!China” Winter Tourism UAE Online Promotion Event Launches
To promote winter holiday travel to China among tourists from the Gulf region, in November 2025, the China Cultural Center in the UAE, in cooperation with Emirates Airline, launched the “Nihao!China” Winter Tourism UAE Online Promotion Event. With the theme of “China Winter Inbound Tourism,” the promotion makes use of the official website, social media platforms, email and mobile applications of Emirates Airline, together with the four major online travel platforms in the UAE (Make My Trip, Musafir.com, Trip.com, Travelwings), to carry out multi-channel online promotion. The focus is on promoting the five destinations directly served by Emirates Airline—Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou—as well as other destinations accessible via connecting flights. This is the first attempt by the China Cultural Center in the UAE to place advertisements through online travel platform channels, promoting China’s winter tourism products to tourists in the UAE and the wider Gulf region. It explores using online channels to improve communication efficiency, expand customer acquisition pathways, and drive growth in Gulf-region tourist arrivals to China.
